My invitations are driving me crazy. Crazy!! A friend is going to help me with the finer points of photoshop, but I have a rough design in mind that I’m working with. I need feedback or votes.
Option 1: We have a book/text theme going on in our centerpieces and other reception decorations, so I tried to incorporate the look of a book page into the invitation. Purple background, white text, book page background on our names. Like I said, my draft is rough, because I can’t do photoshop. You’ll have to imagine that our curly script names are clean and sharp, and that they are filled in with the text of 1 Corinthians 13.
Option 2: Same general idea, but purple fonts on white background. It’s less busy, but it doesn’t incorporate our book theme at all.

I love love love option 1! It’s a bit fuzzy/hard to read as it currently is, but if you made the image sharper I think it would be absolutely stunning!

The first one is really neat, but hard to read. I think the second one will turn out to be a bit more reader friendly. Could you instead incorporate the book theme into the inside of your envelopes? I think that would be super cute.

@laurenthesmall:are you seriously going from Christa to Christian?…if so thats super cool!
As for the invite, i really like the idea of the first one, but its hard to read. I dont know if that just because i am reading it on the computer screen though.

@cardigan: Yeah, I know it’s a hot mess right now. My friend will be able to make it look right. I was cutting and pasting things from digital scans and Microsoft Word. I have no idea how to properly edit graphics… Just trying to get the general idea across. Thanks for the vote! I love instant feedback!

I love the idea behind #1 but personally, the purple is too much and I would have never gotten the scripture in the names. I love the 2nd so much better!

@Baileyh: Christa and Christian are our middle names. So we’ll have the same middle and last initial, if that counts for anything!

I think the second one is alot easier on the eyes. I dont think you should do script within text.
I am pretty good in photoshop if you need help with anything =)
Have you thought of doing the script in the background.. or maybe the information on an open book?

second one is more classic.
