I love L’occitane Shea Butter hand cream – rich enough to do it’s job but not overly slippy/greasy. Also try an oil or balm overnight while you sleep.

A good hand balm is Rituals Miracle Balm.

Coconut oil! This winter has been awful, and it’s the only thing that has saved my hands from looking like a hot mess!

mrsfiddlesticks:  L’Occitane 20% shea butter hand cream. It’s pricey but it’s the only thing that saves my hands during the winter.

I recommend C. Booth body lotions. Its $10 for a 32oz bottle, and its a pump. I use it daily and it works wonders on my skin. One bottle lasts me a month. If you have an Ulta near by, they sell them. 🙂

Back when I lived in ND, I used a lot of Neutrogena Norwegian Formula plus Vaseline (just on my cutifles.) And I usEd kitchen gloves anytime I washed anything.

I use Mary Kay’s satin hands kit.  I hardly ever use it as lotion on my hands grosses me out, but it’s great for rubbing off all the dry skin and the lotion seems to blend in really smoothly.

Also if you’re not already, be sure you’re wearing dish gloves for anything water-related you are doing.  I haven’t needed the lotion at all this year and have used the gloves consistently.  Usually I get this horrible crack at the top of my thumbnail that takes weeks to heal b/c I keep bashing it into things.

I live in Michigan and the best lotion ever is Corn Huskers Lotion. You can find it at Walgreens or other stores I believe. It is kind of messy so I put some on at night and put on finger gloves lol kinda silly but the warmth does something over night!!

mrsfiddlesticks:  I use Jergens Ultra Healing for extra dry skin. Works like a charm! Moisturizes without making you greasy.
