I personally like the first one better because of the flared panels on the skirt. I think that’s an inherently slimming and lengthening design, and it looks more intricate than the second

I prefer the first and feel it’s more beachy, but the second is more flattering. Maybe you need to look around a bit more for that perfect dress?

I like the first one. I feel the second one is to plain on the top and to much going on at the bottom for a beachy look.

destinationwedding2019 :  The first dress is prettier (and my preference) but the second is more flattering for your figure.  Can the first one be altered to be more defined in the waist?

I voted for the first one and would suggest adding a ribbon belt for a pop of colour and to accentuate your tiny waist, helping to add a little more shape to the overall silhouette 💖

Congrats bee! You look lovely in both

destinationwedding2019 :  Like all the PP said, I love the detail on your first dress. Definitely check to see if the dress can be taken in at the waist and through the hips to give it the more mermaid fit you’re looking for. Alternatively, I feel like you may be able to find a mermaid dress with similar details as the first dress

If you are ony choosing between those two, the first one FOR SURE!  But keep shopping if you aren’t positive about one of them!

I like the first one as well and it is better for the beach

The silhouette of #2 flatters your shape better.  I love the elegance of it and the skirt.

Something about #1 is off to me.  I think it’s the silhouette.  It doesn’t flatter your middle.

Just wanted to add, keep in mind how sweat is going to show up on different fabrics. I got married on a beach in the Caribbean too and had sweat running down my legs the whole time! I had an A line dress with silk lining and lace overlay so the lace hid everything, but I’m not sure if either of these dresses would.

destinationwedding2019 :  I voted for 2 because your body looks amazing in it.

It can’t be that heavy to wear given that it’s crepe and tulle. Is it just the tightness of the dress around the thighs that you’re worried about in the warm weather?

I say keep looking if you’re not completely in love with either! There are definitely dresses like the first that could be a little more flattering. Remember how expensive these dresses are, you want something you love!

However, if you must go with one of them, the first with a belt for sure .

I vote for dress 2 as it’s much more flattering on your body….and I like how you notice YOU/ your beautiful figure rather than the details of the dress.

would love to know what you decide?

edited to add….. have you seen Morilee’s Rumer dress? If you are still undecided and are open to opinions, I am bettting that you would look stunning in a dress that looks like this:

I really love the floral detail on 1, it looks unique as I’ve never seen such placement before. Although, the shape of 2 does look slightly better on you. I generally love Vera Wang but the Manuela isn’t one of my favs, it looks a bit meh for the price. You could probably find one that’s cheaper and has the same look tbh. Do you have time to try on more dresses? It’s so hard to pick between these two imo!
