You have two choices:


1.  Hire a professional with a reduced scope.  See what they are willing to give you for 1,500.  Focus on covering the most important parts of the day and obtaining color corrected digital images you can later post edit or compile an album / prints from when more funds are available.

2.  Start your craigslist search.  There are a lot of hungry amatuer photographers that advertise there in those price ranges.  Some arn’t half bad, but it will be a difficult process wedding them out of the bunch of part timers.

Try posting on the Weddingbee classifieds. I think the premiere photog in Jax is considered to be Scarlett Lillian.
