I need help! My wedding colors are pool blue, champaigne, and chocolate brown. My dress is ivory and Champaigne, and my maid of honor will be in a brown dress with a blue sash and the rest of the bridesmaids will be in blue dresses with brown sashes. I want my bouquet to stand out just a bit from my dress, but not too much, but I need the bridesmaids bouquets to look good with their dresses too? Does anyone have any ideas on colors and types of flowers? I like calla lillies, gerbera daisies, peonies, and roses…but just not sure what I’m looking for…

I’m a chocolate color big fun! Searching on chocolate brown color for flowers will be kind of hard due the nature of flowers. Eventhough, I found a perfect flower that describes my taste (including the smell), it is called Chocolate Cosmos Flower. It has a very deep burgundy color, leaning toward a chocolate shade. In addition to their color, these tiny blooms have a flavorful scent of chocolate!
Besides that, trying to match a flower 100% to a dress or other wedding decorations is very difficult. What I suggest you is matching the tones, not the specific color. For example if you want to use red flowers against a red dress, the two colors may be slightly different. In the case of using color on the same color, greenery may be used to break up the color. Greens also help break up the 2 colors in case the don’t match 100%.

Big puffy sky blue hydrangeas, ivory roses or calla lilies, red poppies (they’d really stand out against the brown and blue)…

I think there is so much you can do…what time of year is your wedding? Try looking up flowers that are blooming in the time of year of your wedding it makes it cheaper and it will give you a list that you can research and find what colors they come in. I think you could do anything from a mix of oranges to white roses with a filler in a different color to add to it! I saw pictures from a wedding with similar colors and they had a mixure of white flowers. Good luck!!
