Love, love, love Red Velvet! So delicious, and I think a majority of people do too. I know my entire family likes it, including a few who are picky. When I get married, that will definitely be one of our options. I actually don’t think I’ve ever had it with cream cheese though, which is funny because that’s supposedly the most common topping with it!

You definitely can’t go wrong with having one tier be red velvet. It is basically a chocolate flavor but my Fiance swears the chocolate taste is different than regular chocolate!! It is something almost everyone likes.
The funfetti would be a fun one to do as well!

All red velvet cakes have red food coloring added, but some form of acid (vinegar, buttermilk) is used to make the chocolate appear more red and alter the taste. I’m personally not a fan but I know quite a few people like it.

my votes are for chocolate with fudge filling (my mouth is watering thinking about it), red velvet with cream cheese filling, and funfetti!

That’s great that your guests will be able to choose their cake flavors. My cousin got married over a year ago and had the most delicious cake I’ve ever had in my life, I am STILL going on about it after all this time! It’s kind of funny how, while the ceremony and reception were beautiful, something like an amazing piece of cake is what stands out to me even now. If your cake is even half as incredible as the cake I had was then your guests will be plenty pleased!

I would suggest that you do one mainstream flavor. My favorite cake is red velvet, because I adore red velvet with cream cheese icing, but I think that’s a fairly common flavor. I voted amaretto, because it’s less common & you mentioned you were wanting a more unique flavor. I think that would go really well with a fresh raspberry filling, with buttercream icing. We did an amaretto cake with a cherry filling. We didn’t have a choice for our flavors, but it was a good flavor combo.
