First off, that’s one of my favorite settings, so I’m so psyched for you. Its going to be stunning. Second, I would have him make a matching band. I saw a post on Pricescope where he made a subtle knife edge wedding band to match one of his solitaires and it was gorg!

Otherwise, I think a rounded band like the tiffany lucida 3mm might be a good match, because it’s not too flat. I would not want milgrain, because I think the setting is so modern, I’d want to keep clean lines with a plain band.

Another option is a channel set diamond band, if you didn’t want plain. He made a lovely one that I saw on another pricescope thread.

boxbits:  I really like the matching band with the torchiere setting. I’m wondering if he did make you a matching band for your flame setting if it would also be 3mm, which I think may be too thick and take away from you diamond. So maybe go with a slightly thinner version, like 2.25mm-2.5mm?

boxbits:  I love the pic you posted. That was the thread I was thinking of. I also agree with above posted. 2.2-2.5 mm would be perfect. I think matching gold would be awesome.

If you want something different, you could get an engraved band, though that will probably have a more antique look. This is really pretty though.

boxbits:  18k is pretty soft, I’m not sure how it would hold up next to platinum. If your going to go with gold for a wedding band the 14k may be a better option.

Had posted a pic but realized my mm measurements are probably too different to be useful. I think a 2.5mm knife-edge would be a nice match to the 3mm e-ring.

Oops, I thought your e-ring was going to be gold. Some people wear gold next to platinum and really don’t have any issues, but the gold could get worn down over time. To be honest though, I would prefer the look of matching metals anyway. You could get a platinum band now and add some gold stackers on days when you don’t want to wear your e-ring =D

boxbits:  Ok, well, in case it helps. Here’s my e-ring (classic Tiffany setting and I think at this carat weight, the shank is probably around 2.5mm) paired with a sterling 2mm knife-edge band that I got for cheap somewhere cuz I wanted to see how it looked.
