I recently went into Tiffany’s to look at wedding bands and have narrowed it down to two. Please help me decide which looks best on my hand/with my 1.2 ct rb solitaire! It’s hard not to fall in love with everything in that store, but I just can’t decide what looks best. I want as much sparkle as possible without it taking away from my e-ring.
Option 1: 2.2 mm half circle shared setting band (9 smaller stones)
Pros-Same width as my e-ring. Looks great alone (I tend to prefer daintier jewelry). Price!
Cons-You can see where the diamonds stop when viewing the set from above. From afar it looks very similar to most wedding band styles I’ve tried on.
Option 2: 3mm half circle shared setting (7 larger stones)
Pros-More finger coverage. Will still look great even after eventually upgrading my e-ring to a larger stone. Sparkles more!
Cons-Could make my e-ring look smaller. Looks a bit unfinished when worn by itself.
Thank you and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!!

I love them both. Sorry I’m no help!

They’re both pretty with your ring but I like the thinner one.

Can you get both?
I also love them both.
But if I had to choose, I’d choose the smaller gemstones. Shocker, I know.

I usually love thinner rings, but I love the 7-stone one. It really sets off your solitaire. I prefer when bands are similar thicknesses, and the 7-stone seems to be closer to the thickness of your e-ring band.

Personal prference, I’d vote for option 1! I reall like how dainty it is and how it works with your engagement ring not against you.

I like when the e-ring takes center stage.

They’re both stunning! Normally I like the same width as the ering, but for some reason I really love the wider one on you! Not sure if it’s the slight angle of your hand in the first two pictures or if my taste is just evolving lol but my vote is for #2!

Wow, really, really hard choice! I do love how delicate option 1 is but there is something beautiful about how option 2 looks. I probably would have to pick option 2 as my favorite. Ps I have the same e ring and I’m going to be looking at wedding bands just like these! 🙂 🙂

Thank you all for your help! I know, it’s such a tough decision.
I I agree that the smaller band definitely sets off my e-ring better, but I really hate that I can see where the diamonds stop. I considered the full enternity 2.2mm band, but as soon as I put it on I could feel the prongs scratching me.
onewomanwolfpack: I think my tastes may be evolving as well because I even tried on the thicker band, but there’s something about it that I just can’t stop looking at it!
jackie86: Good luck with shopping-it’s so fun but such a tough decision!
nflwidow: right?! I wish!
