OK so I need some advice I’m getting married on 5-23-2016 so in little over a month it will be a civil ceremony held outdoors in downtown San Diego over looking the bay and dinner afterwith about 40 guest. I have a wedding dress I purchased from davids bridal a little over a year ago when my fiance and I were planning our big wedding, but then I found out I was pregnant and we had to use our wedding $ to get ready for the baby, is it still ok to wear my dress or should I wear something less formal I have a white pencil skirt as well, should I wear that instead or change into it for dinner? PLEASE I NEED ADVICE!

I don’t think your dress is too over the top or formal, I’d totally wear it in the circumstances you describe, it’s lovely and its not a huge ballgown or anything

Thanks ladies, now do you girls think I should change into my skirt for dinner or should I stay in the dress?

You know yourself and your comfort levels best, but my vote is definitely keep your dress on for dinner! It’s beautiful.

Wear your dress of course , it’s lovely ( and congratulations on the baby too!) .
Don’t change out of it for the reception, why should you , it looks comfortable yet dressy and weddingy . You can wear a pencil skirt any old time !
