Im feeling stuck with my wedding planning. I’ve got most of my vendors booked, including the venue, which is also our caterer. My dress, ceremony musicans, etc. all booked / purchased.
I’m getting to the point where I need to make specific decor decisions but I really don’t have an eye for it and I am hoping some of you who enjoy that sort of thing can help.
What I have so far that I can (and would like to)incorporate: milk glass vases, caterer provided white plates and gold chargers, white tablecloths as default but am open to adding table runners / overlays! A champagne/neutral satin covered cardbox, a banner for behind the head table that says “just married”! And I’ve got the supplies for lace covered candles for the tables, but although I definitley want votives on the tables, I guess I’m indifferent if I use that particular idea.
My wedding colors are peach, coral, yellow and touches of gold. If it matters, the guys are wearing grey suits and I keep going between pale yellow or pale peachy-coral for bridesmaids dresses.
I will have a “photo booth” which is just a second photographer taking pics in one corner with props. I would like to section this area off and was thinking of getting a folding screen and decorating it with various sized/wedding colored paper fans with a sign saying “photo booth”.
I think the hardest part for me is deciding what colors to make table linens (or runner if using provided white tablecloths), menus at each place setting, napkin colors, etc.
I know this post is a bit scattered but I’m hoping for you creative bees you can envision what I’ve described so far and have suggestions on what you think would look good.
Reception fairly will be fairly informal and I’d describe my vision for the decor as whimsical, summer-y, and girly.
ETA: I’ve heard there are virtual tabletop programs online, but the ones I’ve come across either don’t run on my iPad or are extremely limited.
