- Wedding: March 2012
I am new to dress searching and have gone to three different shops. The first one was dissappointing, they only had 3 dresses for me to try on because any others she wouldn’t have time to order before the wedding (Mar 22nd). The 2nd place was David’s Bridal… they were very busy so I tried on a few and found I am more of a team Lace than team Satin. The 3rd place was pretty far out of my price range but they had some gorgeous items nonetheless.
I have seen a lot of dresses online and one I absolutely LOVE is:
I think it is gorgeous. So I found this dress online for VERY cheap (it is a sample, retailer is safe). It is a size 12 and I still don’t understand dress sizes… I can’t find any measurements for Jasmine bridal dresses or after contacting all the bridal boutiques close to me no one has a sample for me to look at.
My question is… if I take the risk and buy the sale dress without seeing it in person, what if it is too small? Do I have options? Does converting it to corset back REALLY add that much more room for sizing?
I was fitting fine in size 14’s at David’s Bridal (I think!) and I am working out hard, trying to diet… Not sure how much weight is possible for me to lose before March 22nd, does this even sound plausible?
If anyone has any experience or suggestions I am all ears. Thanks!!
