I’m going to make this pillow for my ring girls: http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/226604/silk-flower-ring-pillow
They said to use silk dupion, shatung or taffeta. Do you know if baroque silk would work? Any opinions on whether I have to stick with the 3 they listed?
Also what are pinking sheers? Where can I find them with scalloped edges?

The three fabrics they suggested all have some degree of stiffness to them. I am not familiar with baroque silk, but I think you could use any fabric that has some body.
Pinking shears are fabric scissors that cut fabrics with an edge that doesn’t fray. They originally only came in zigzag but now there are other shapes.
Most fabric and craft stores will carry the scalloped edge shears. Make sure you get ones for fabric not paper.
