i hard time too. especially because i bought a dress, then regretted it and luckily sold it. and i didnt want to make that mistake a second time around.  so i tried on a TON before buying a second dress. and when i found it, i did not know immediately.  it just ended up being the dress that after going home and looking at the picture, i started to like it more and more, rather than being less sure like i had went through with several others. i just couldnt find anything i didnt like about it. and then i kept trying on dresses and found myself comparing them all to “my dress”. and yes, i started calling it “my dress”.  so about a week after finding it and going to a few more stores, i went  back and purchased MY dress. by then i was officially in love, but it was a gradual process because mainly i didnt want to make a mistake again.

If you’re not sure what you want, I think you should go out and try a bunch of dresses on. Don’t stress about it – just have fun. I think you’ll find something you’ll really like!

I didn’t have tears, or an overwhelming emotional “surge” when I found my dress.  I just knew.  It was like allllll the ideas I had in my head converged on me at one point when I had “the dress” on.  I tried on soooooo many (last count was over 125) and when I put it on…it was right.  I live in an area that has a TON of salons so I had many places  to go.  Have you thought about getting your dress made?  I know that stores on Etsy will do it.
