How about this one from David’s Bridal? dbaline

There are plenty of pics of real brides wearing it too. Some of them look even better than the model, in my opinion! I think it looks best with a belt, but that could just be my personal preference. It’s on my “to try on” list.

An idea of your budget might help. If you’re a cheap-ass bride like me (even the dress I posted is out of my budget but I’m hoping I can find it used if I like it) you shouldn’t waste your time falling in love with a designer dress that’s out of your budget. How much are you planning to spend?

MissKayteeDee:  This has nothing to do with the post, but your dog is adorable! Reminds me a little bit of mine. 🙂

MissKayteeDee:  Aah, mine’s a 16-year-old chihuahua who was rescued from the street, so that explains the similarities!

Shanekstedt1524:  If it helps, my dress was $1000, before alterations. So like $1300.

The sottero and midgly viera! Sweetheart neckline, lace, comes on gold and ivory $1,479! Not too much fabric!

How about Allure C243?  I have seen pictures of it on some brides on the Bee.  And I think Allure will make it in hollow to hem so that would cut down on alterations.

Shanekstedt1524:  This is me when i was looking for dresses. It definitely fits better now that I have had alterations done. I actually had it altered to have a corset back, which i like SO much better. And the skirt isnt too bad, I actually added an extra layer of a tulle petticoat under mine, but it doesnt make it much poofier, and its not as poofy as a full ball gown.

mine was casablanca 1900. i had to change the neckline to sweetheart (it was straight across scalloped before but didnt cost much to have it changed when ordered) i believe after all my alterations it was around 1200 but that was with extra length added to the train as well. also idk if mine is considered an aline or natural waist?
