Love the engagement ring…don’t love the wedding band with it…I think the “off” is that it almost looks square…since the engagement ring is so striking, what about just a plain wedding band?

Ooh! I love your ring! It’s definitely worth holding out for the perfect band to compliment it. You should definitely try with the ring before you buy. I thought I wanted a pave band and fell in love with the plain look. With your ring, I’d love to see you try bands that incorporate baguette diamonds. Some examples below. I could be totally off the mark, it’s so difficult to judge from afar.

Drizzle:  i was going to suggest very similar styles,  i really like the baguettes and the vintage vibe.

heputaringonit:  your engagement ring is gorgeous! Have you  considered going custom? I’d be tempted to contact David Klass  and get something designed to go with your beautiful ring.  He’s done several rings for me and I’ve been thrilled with his craftsmanship and his pricing

heputaringonit:  How about something this baguette wedding band from Bario Neal? I know that Bario Neal works with platinum, even though I don’t think that was mentioned on the page for this particular ring.

I have a tapered baguette setting as well. I recently got a 7 stone band from whiteflash. For me, it was important that the wedding band was the same profile as the ering. It’s a gorgeous classic setting but I do think it’s a hard one to pair with a wedding band.

ooo your e ring is beautiful. it has a little bit of a vintage vibe about it with classic lines, so why not go with a plain band with milgrain to bring in more of the vintage theme but keeping the clean design.
