Have you thought about going the Off-Shore (China) Dressmakers route… that would save you a TON of money.

Jasmine’s Bridal Shop gets a lot of positive Reviews here on WBee.

And they have a HUGE on-going Post on the DRESS BOARD where you read and learn more info.

Would you consider buying a used or sample dress from one of the Tradsy/OnceWorn/etc. sites?

BHLDN had a similar style dress on sale on their website right now.

Mori Lee 2620, $1300:

Allure 9058, Under $2k:

I liked similar dresses so I can dig up some more, but there were a few mori lees and at least 1 casablanca that were under $1500 with the interesting necklines.

Mine was similar to that, Justin Alexander 8630. I bought it in the UK for about £1000.

To @vitaminshake:  As I said check out the Jasmine’s Bridal Post on the DRESS BOARD… all your Questions can be answered there (Quality – Order & Delivery Details etc).

From what I’ve seen here on WBee, the dresses that Brides have got from Jasmine’s are indeed GORGEOUS and virtually identical to the originals to just a fraction of the price…

And you can have FULL INPUT to the design etc, so you indeed get to pick the lace etc.  And Jasmine’s will send you photos during the process

I toyed with the idea when I was planning my own Wedding, but then our venue changed… and so my Dress idea changed as well.

Hope this helps,

I tried on a ballgown with a similar illusion neckline.  It was Ellis 19032, from their newest collection.  I really loved the detail, although I think it was more beading than lace.  Not sure what your budget is, but this one was $1500, so it’s at least below the ones you posted.

Also, the dress I actually bought has a similar neckline, but is a fit-and-flare.  It’s Sophia Tolli – Lavinia, and was also about $1500.
