We are doing submerged centerpeices too.  We are doing them with gerbera daiseys but last night my Fiance advised me that he likes orchids.  lol  But I’m still thinking I’m going to stick with the daiseys.  I’ve already bought half of the flowers needed.  What I’ve been doing is going to Hobby Lobby and picking up flowers each week.  So I don’t have to spend so much at one time, and can pick up other things too.  As long as you don’t pick a seasonal flower they should still have the flowers on the shelf throughout the year.

I plan on working on a few detales for one centerpeice to see how it comes out.  I have to do that sometime.  When I do, I’ll be sure to post 🙂

I love the idea of those centerpieces! Very pretty

Idon’t know where you can find inexpensive fake flowers but if you have the time to do them closer to the wedding day and aren’t opposed to real flowers SAMs club has good deals on them. You can order them online and have them shipped in a few days before the event. To give you an idea you can get 200 roses for $148, or 70 purple/white orchids for $128. I don’t know how many you are needing or if real is something you really don’t want to do but just an idea–good luck in advance!! Smile

I got latex flowers from afloral.com and they look great!  I’ll post some pics when I get a chance, but my centerpiece looks pretty similar to yours except my colors are blue and white and I went with white flowers.
