If both of you are happy to change your engagement ring, then it is totally fine to do it before being married.
Mine is from MoissasniteCo, eng148. 6.5mm (1.4 ct equivalent) cushion in palladium. Side stones are also Moissanite. Was $945.

@RachelJay: I lurve my moissy. It is the amora moissy (not the gem!)
It is Wed100 set from moissaniteco.com. I did not see it in person until he proposed but it worked out just fine. 😉
(1.25ct center stone on the Engagement Ring. 10.5 finger.)

@RachelJay: This is a diamond ring…It is a cluster that has an invisible halo. I almost got this instead of my diamond ring with a halo and also seriously considered a Moissy. It is as nice as a moissy and big but a diamond without the $$ for big diamonds bc it is a cluster. Thought I would share other options for you not wanting to spend a lot:) You can get it for $2,500.00 🙂

patchy: How did you go about getting this custom ballerine ring?? I fell in love with the ring at Cartier but was heartbroken when I found out that they didn’t have it in yellow gold.
Your ring is stunning!
