atlonglast :  nailtek! It brought my nails from weak, brittle, peeling and afraid to grow due to being bitten for 20+ years to beautiful long strong flexible nails.

They have a few different formulas depending on your nail’s problem.

I get mine at CVS or Target but you can find it online as well.

Do not use a nail strengthener. While it will help them grow, your nails will be too hard and prone to snapping easily. Your nails need to be able to bend if hit on something.

I’ve been growing my nails for years and my nails never break and my best tips would be:

-avoid water as much as possible. Water causes your nails to flake and brake.

-invest in a good nail oil! Something with jojoba is the best. Apply 5-7 times a day.

-never..,NEVER cut your nails with clippers. Using clippers causes micro splinters that cause chipping and breakage. Use a glass nail file in one direction.

-protect your nails with a polish. Not gel! Don’t like colored polishes?? Just use a top coat!

-don’t use your nails as tools. Use something else or someone else to open packages, soda cans, etc for you.

Do you tend to wear polish or anything on your nails? I find my nails are at their best when I don’t wear anything on them.

atlonglast :  Eat more gelatin. Or take a supplement. It will help them grow stronger and faster from the inside, and they’ll be healthier as you go.

atlonglast :  I don’t bother anymore because I just keep my nails short, but Witchcraft brand nail hardener used to work really well for me.

Omega 3 (or something to that effect) helps with hair skin and nails etc.

I used to take it religiously when I was thinner (malnutrition I won’t go into details) but my nails would grow like crazy)

The best of the best for nails to grow… is

no polish, no strenthner.    Just manicured and use O.P.I

brilliant shine buffer block on clean nails.. wipe locations,

oils everything with Alcohol then use the buffer.( it’s only 2ways) step1- blur side step 2- white side.

finiahing up with CND cuticle oil.  Buff only once a week.

this is really works for lots of my clients.

Grow healthy nails after 2-4 weeks. 🙂
