Im looking for creative DIY place cards.
I’ve bought pre-scored place cards from paper-source in the color “beet”.
My original idea was to print out white labels with the guest names written in either purple or Orange
I also bought a rubber stamp with two champagne glasses.
Once put all together , it kinda looks cheesy
I really want to be able to use these cards …..any easy DIY projects that you ladies can suggest ?

I think you can still use the placecards. Maybe print out each person’s name on another piece of paper that’s a contrasting color (off white, light pink, depenending on what your colors are) and use one of those fun edged scissors to cut that out, and then paste it on top of the beet cards you got? Depending on how big the stamp is, could you maybe stamp it at the bottom or side? Something like this might work also: http://www.etsy.com/listing/46656454/monogram-layered-paisley-tent-place-card?ref=sr_gallery_24&ga_search_query=placecard&ga_search_type=&ga_page=&includes%5B%5D=tags&includes%5B%5D=title
hope that helps!

hey, so I wouldnt print out white stickers and stick them on the dark colored paper… I dont know if you or someone you know has nice penmanship I would hand write each one with a silver or gold marker that you can get at an art store like omer dessers and as for the champagne glasses stamp get yourself an embossing kit with the heat gun and embossing powder in silver or gold and use your stamp with that. I think that would be very nice 🙂 hope this helps

what i would do is this:
buy text paper (like from paperandmore.com, this is where i got all mine) in a complimentary color to ur placecard. then in a word doc, type out all the guests names (maybe like 10-20 to a page, whatever would fit) and print it on your pretty colored paper (they even have metallic paper little more exp but not too bad) then just cut out the names and layer it onto your place card (i would leave about a quarter inch of the placecard showing so that it is matted /framed around the text paper) then simply double-tape them to your place card. i hope this makes sense. play around with one with and withour ur stamp, if it was me, i would keep it simple and leave the stamp out though, or maybe put it on the back. i could even help you with this, just dm me!
