(Closed) Need help in making a photo list!

Here is the list I made: (Just as a side note the people in our wedding party include 3 sets of sisters and their husbands, 2 junior bridesmaids – 9 and 11 years old, 4 year old flower girl, 2 year old ring bearer and 1 year old ring bearer… and 2 sets of parents)

 

Bride’s Parents house

–          Bride alone

–          Bride w/ mom & dad

–          Bride w/ mom

–          Bride w/ dad

–          Bride w/ each girl

–          Bride w/ all girls

–          Bride w/ junior bridesmaids

–          Bride w/ flower girl

–          Bride w/ brother & sister

–          Bride w/ female family – my side (sister, nieces, mom)

–          Bride w/ female family – John’s side (sisters)

Groom’s Parents house

–          Groom alone

–          Groom w/ mom & dad

–          Groom w/ mom

–          Groom w/ dad

Post Ceremony

I’m not a fan a huge lists of pointing out everything like first kiss, etc. That should be standard with any pro. I do however think you should like important people you would like shots with and when you would like them done. Make sure to plan enough time for these shots and make the others in the shots aware that is when they are going to happen. I also want to mention if you have any special DIY details you want especially highlighted then I would point those out as well. Most pros will try and get the details but they don’t know which ones you spent 4 hours a night for a month on 🙂

I actually agree with @PizzutiStudios:  I had selected photos from a list but then forgot to give it to my photographer – in the end there were only very few things that were missed which were small details like close up shots of our centerpieces and table numbers. At first I was disappointed with those little things but then I looked at all of the amazing (and candid) shots that my photographers DID get and I realized the photos showing the emotion and the minute by minute interactions were a million times better than seeing a photo of our table numbers!
