61/2 minutes is too long. Try it yourself. Stand up and watch your honey doing something for that length of time and see how bored you are.

Most songs can be broken into logical segments – that’s how they do medleys- they only play or sing part of each song.

@chittychittybanebane: What’s the name of the song? I’m curious. No offense, but I don’t want an mp3 emailed to me, but I can find it online if you wouldn’t mind giving me the title and name of the artist.

It is a beautiful song. I’d never heard it before, so I’m glad I had the opportunity-thanks to you.

Is there any way you can incorporate the whole wedding party into the last part- the 3 songs following?  Can your Dad hand you off to your husband at the end of that song?

To me 6 1/2 minutes of you and your Dad is still a bit excessive being that the focus of the  wedding is  the new couple.

you could do the fast part FIRST, then go into the slow cinderella song, but have the DJ invite all daddys and daughters in the crowd to come dance with you…. Im doing that just because I think a whole 3 min might be a little awkward lol and I think the whole idea is cute 🙂
