I hear it’s quite popular in texas, I would just google image search Camo wedding. Here are two such images I found during my search…. not really up my alley but I was trying to help…

Well, I would suggest Chocolate Browns and Greens (Darker and Sage type of greens). I would suggest to the bride that she have the groomsmen in brown tuxes and the bridesmaids in either a sage or darker green dress with a brown sash, or brown bridesmaid dress with a green sash. The guys can have green ties too.

Then the decor can be a lot of branches, and less flowers. You can still make this classy, without being trashy about it.

If the bride really wants actual “camo” I would suggest small touches of it, maybe get the bridesmaids a custom clutch made out of camo, or have the guys have a pocket square made out of camo vs. a bout.  Then you can do camo napkins or camo table runners, etc.

Hope that helps!

Oh..deer~ (lol) what good ideas we’ve got going on!

How about the bride finding some heels which have somewhat of that type of look?  I found these adorable peep toe heels on like.com (by leg army in the style made out of canvas!

What about camo cupcakes?  I was thinking of looking for some for my husband’s birthday this year.

Is it camo like army? Or more like hunting/woods?

If it is hunting, you can make flowers out of leaves for the bouts and bouquets. Also with the leaves, I saw the etsy seller who makes silhouettes from leaves. The seller is jennyleefowler. I haven’t purchased one, but thought they were really cool.

sweetbeemeg, as a fellow planner, you might have to bite your lip on this one and just go with what the bride wants.  I know you want to do amazing and beautiful weddings, I’m the same way, but sometimes you have to just go with their vision, even though you think it may be a bad color combo or even a little redneck.  Not that there is anything wrong with a casual affair, but it sound like that’s what she wants.  So, with that, I’d suggest to her that the bridesmaids get put into brown slacks instead of jeans (will at least step it up a notch).  I would also lead towards a lot of branches and leaves for decor.

Just for curiosity, where is the ceremony and reception? I’m hoping the ceremony is outside.  And the reception in a lodge of some sorts. That will help pull it all together a little better.
