First of all, your ring is gorgeous!

As far as my opinion, I prefer it with the first band you picked out. I’m not a huge fan (personally) of mixing metal types. Well, it’s more of a hit or miss. Sometimes it looks really cool but other times I’m not as sold. I guess maybe a pic of that combo would help!

@SuzySchmoozy: Definitely try something similar on. That will at least be your first indicator of whether you’d like it. I don’t know, if it were me, I’m not a *huge* pink fan. I like it, but not enough to wear it all the time I guess. Maybe it’s just me.

While I love the pink and rose gold, and have actually considered that band for myself, you are correct in that it will not be durable. I personally would choose a plain silver metal (not sure what yours is, white gold, platinum, etc) to complete the classic look of your solitaire. Sometimes I like the look of a diamond band with a solitaire, but in your case, since your center stone is so big (and beautiful!!) a dimaond band may overpower and take away from it. Good luck and keep us posted!

“My FH is concerned that the sapphires won’t hold up to everyday wear, and that it might loose luster over time

Sapphirs are actually the next hardest stone than diamonds. Diamonds rate a “10” and sapphires rate a “9”. Sapphires will hold up very well!

I like them both. I think I like the pink and rose gold the most though.

I love the pink diamond band. I did my best to edit it onto your finger, don’t laugh:

I would love the pink if it wasn’t mixing metal types… I am not a fan of the yellow with white :/
