I’m having a very DIY wedding. My future sister-in-law is making a song playlist for the reception. I’m having trouble friending songs that I want her to add. I want some that are slow romantic songs and some that are a little faster that some of the younger kids would want to dance to. I am not looking for anything cheesy, like the chicken dance.
Any suggestions ?
Some I’ve picked are la vie en rose ( slow song) and marry me: Bruno mars ( faster dance song)

What kind of music do you and FH listen to normally? Having a style direction will help the more musically knowledgeable bees give you options.

@tksjewelry: I generally just stick to what’s on the radio, though will occasionally listen to more ‘indie’ stuff like the decemberists and snow patrol. My fiancé doesn’t listen to music a whole lot. When he does its The Stars or The hush sound or Sage Francis.
I think I would prefer softer music that could go well in the background but could still be danced to. I don’t know if any of that helps.
