First Id like to say I love Weddingbee and congratulate everyone. I am very excited about my July 4th wedding in NYC but even though my wedding is around the corner (feels like it), I havent yet decided on my colors and flowers, oh yes and invitations and favors, SO i am freaking out, very behind. Id love to have a very romantic victorian theme. Any ideas? I do like teal and gold for my bridesmaids, what do you think? I’d appreciate if anyone has any ideas 🙂
Thank you in advance 🙂

Have you googled "Victorian Wedding Theme"? There are a zillion pages with suggestions. You can go completely historically accurate, or just apply some Victorian elements to your wedding. Victorian weddings bring to mind formal gardens, gazebos, parasols, elaborate multiple-course dinners, groomsmen in cut-away tuxedoes, elaborately detailed wedding invitations.
Being a graphic artist, I think teal & gold is a wonderful color combination. Dark brown goes well with those colors as a neutral. And teal can come in many shades; from sea foam to midnight blue, all of which can be incorporated into you color scheme.
