I have moissonite earrings (2 carats, total, one in each ear). They are beautiful but not as beautiful as my super ideal cut GIA certified diamond……I would go for the diamond over Asha or moissonite, but that’s my personal preference. Also, at least witha round brilliant, an ideal cut will hide other flaws. Also, medium to strong fluoresence will make a I-J-K color diamond look much whiter. Just some thoughts on how you can get more for your money on a diamond. We had a custom made ring done at Brilliance.com, and they were fabulous to work with. The advisors really helped my Fiance pick a perfect stone that got us all what we wanted. It is GIA certified.

I think if you’re having to ask… then you should go with a diamond. It sounds like you may regret not going with a diamond in the end. Then you’d probably get it replaced with a diamond eventually and end up paying more money in the end.
Go with the diamond. You won’t be disappointed. In 10 years you won’t look at your ring and think “I shouldn’t have spent that money” but if you go with an Asha or another alternative, you may think “I SHOULD have just spent the money and got a diamond.”

the ring my hubby gave me 6 years ago was a high end CZ its all he could afford he promised one day to get me a forever ring …the ring fell apart after 6 months of wear i am a truck driver and very heavy on my hands but still 6months !!! My hubby just got me my forever ring this past year for christmas we got a vintage estate ring .71 RB VS2/G it came in it orginal setting which was falling apart (1950s) we paid $500 for it yup honest truth !!! We had reset ino a custom setting and honestly its worth evry penny to me !!! My suggestion try looking at estate jewerly find a stone you like buy it and get it reset if you like it drops the cost down a great deal. Ask yourself this if your really wanting a diamond and you didn’t have to pay the high price would it make a difference ?? I know diamonds are $$ but at the end of the day if its what you desire then buy it..otherwise your gonna have regret as time passes if you honestly cant afford it at this time then get the asha Or a moissy and when the time is right you can get your diamond and renew your vows if you like !!! IMO gettingy diamond now like I did knowing what we have gone though these past 6 years its meant so much then i thought it could and next July on are 7 th anniversary i am getting my diamond band i have been wanting and renewing our vows .. So my point you ask ?? If you get that ache from spending money you know you need but want a diamond you can always get it down the line ( if money is the issue )if its not a money issue then go for it get your dream ring evry woman deserves her fairy tale !!!!
