@misschickpea: omg you can totally do something like this, but with a darker blue. I think it’s a beautiful color palette (don’t want to get in trouble so…picture taken from theknot):

Yellow, copper and dark blue. I think those are actually some kind of leaf…but they look dark blue! You could also wrap the stems in dark blue to bring more of that color in.

This sounds like a gorgeous color palette!! You could definitely do rusty reds with copper, and a deep navy. Love that! You could probably even throw in some slate grays and a deep purple or lighter blue too.

I love copper! It reminds me of rose gold. I think cream and copper go gorgeous. Then perhaps adding a deep maroon for a rich fall or winter feel. If your set on blues, I think it should work as well!

My Brother-In-Law used copper hurrican lamps with burgandy, white and green as their pallette. They wore dark navy suits and it looked awesome!

@misschickpea: Agree, navy suits would be so gorgeous for a fall wedding! All the jewel tones you’re considering are just so lush looking. If you can’t find decently priced metallic votives, an option may be to get regular clear glass votives and buy metallic candles. Holiday stuff should be coming out soon, so I’m sure you’ll start to see these types of candles everywhere. This is not a very good example, but this is the type of candle I’m referring to: http://www.sdflowers.com/images/gold_floating_candles.jpg I’ve seen them in all shapes and sized, esp around the holidays.
