Need some help on a first dance song. My fiance and I can’t agree. We wanted something in the alternative or classic rock genre. We love Chris Cornell and he’s about the only artist we’ve agreed on as first dance worthy but so many of our friends have used his songs so we’re looking for somethng different but in a similar tune.
Thank you for your suggestions!

What about Leather and Lace by Stevie Nicks and Don Henley? We almost used that one but we both love Wonderwall by Oasis too much. If you google classic rock first dance songs a ton of websites show up! Good luck!

A few we’re considering from Classic Rock:
Aerosmith – Don’t Want to Miss a Thing (my pick)
REO Speedwagon – Can’t Fight this Feeling Anymore (FI likes this one)
Journey – Open Arms
Bryan Adams – Have you Ever Really Loved a Woman

Doesn’t get more classic rock than Rolling Stones – how ’bout “Wild Horses”? Fiance just asked to add “Moondance” by Van Morrison to our wedding playlist, and I could see that being a fun first dance song, too…I also love Paul McCartney’s “Maybe I’m Amazed” and Queen “I Was Born to Love You”.
