HELP!! So, I had (what I thought) was a really awesome idea for centerpieces involving floralytes and beta fish and flowers in the top of a vase, but my Fiance doesn’t like the idea and now I’m completely lost. I have no idea what to do…I need them for $10 or less each and I need 10 of them. I want something unique…not just flowers in a vase….but I’m finding myself unable to come up with any ideas! I’m pretty crafty so I don’t have a problem with DIY. OUr theme is a sort of wildflowers/summer picnic theme and our colors are wintersky blue, chocolate, light sage green and cream. Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome!!!!

You could get creative with tea cups and tea pots for a whimsy Alice in Wonderland feel
Garage sales would be a great place to find these on the super cheap too!

Inexpensive basket with pots of herbs and flowers. People could each take one pot home for a favor.
Or, fill a basket with washed fruit that your guests can actually eat if they choose, and tuck in just a few flowers in floral tubes.

I am doing a picnic themed wedding as well. I dont like fresh cut flowers (because they just end up dead) so we are doing potted plant center peices. I am going with pansies because they are cheap and planted all over the public parks here so that ties the ceremony in with the reception. I just plan on decorating the pots with ribbon and/or nice paper and the guests can take them home afterwards.

it doesnt really match your colors but i was at a bridal show and saw tall vases with lemons and limes cut in half in at with a nice viberant flower on top. kinda different and neat looking.
