We’re getting married in late Oct. Weather permitting, we’ll get married outside in this space:
But if it rains or has rained the day before, we will be getting married inside in this space:
We are not gettnig any sort of flowers to hang on the gazebo and I am planning on having pumpkins running down on each side of the aisle. My neice will be throwing orange rose petals and then we get the space where we get married and I’ve got nothing.
I hate, hate, HATE those fake, tacky ficus trees w/lights. They are in the ballroom and I hate them. So they will NOT be there if we marry indoors. Also, the arbor with the flowers was brought in by this bride. I can’t afford to do that. I would still run pumpkins down the aisle on either side and the rose petals and then I’m stuck again.

For the gazebo. You could pile white and orange gourds in different sizes at the front of the gazebo. You could drape linen from the back side of it, to provide contrast. You could wrap the rail with linen, or almost make a bunting like arrangement on the visible sides. You could make a stand up wheat arrangement to put directly behind the pumpkins.
I think you could do something similar on either side of the window. Mabye rent white pillars and put a couple pumpkins on the pillars. Again with the pillares, You could get a couple vases and fill them with wheat, and put a few small gourds around the vase on the pillars. Again with pillars, you could get two large pillar candles, wrap them with buralp and a ribbon, and scatter a few gourds in front of them.
I keep suggesting the pillars because it looks like anything put directly on the ground inside would get lost.
You could also use fall leaves to wrap around votive holders. You could sprinkle fall leaves on the roof of the gazebo.
The orange petals will be beautiful against the green grass.
I started a thread a while back about fall decoration.. maybe there is some inspiration there for you! Good luck!

OMG…you are the best. I really do love your ideas. I like the pillar idea…I’ll check for rental places. But I LOVE the use of wheat and then placing gourds/pumpkins around the gazebo, wrapping the railing around the gazebo with a linen type fabric and then the leaves on the roof of the gazebo…AWESOME IDEA!
If you have anymore, please shoot them my way. In all of the craziness in trying to get things finished, I left out ceremony decor! (SIGH!)
