(Closed) Need help with Cord/Veil/Coin Ceremony…how, what, when?

I know this is an old post, but I’ve been trying to find this info too- I’m half filipino, but trying to get any sort of info from my mom is like pulling teeth. Anyone have the answers?

@JessieK:  The cord and veil are removed right before the pronouncement that you are now Husband and Wife. That is how I do my ceremonies. However the best way to find information is to choose the Officiant that will have officiating your ceremony. I know your ceremony is a couple years away, so interviewing Officiants by email will give you a chance to feel out various people you might be interested in having do the ceremony. Emails cost the Officiants nothing but a little time and if they are right for you then they will be more than happy  to sharing their wisdom and information.
