I need some artistic advice.
I needed my invitations to be bilingual so I was limited on where I could get my invitations. I decided to go with a very nice woman on etsy. The great thing is that everything is customizable, but the downside is that I have to decide on every little detail. I’m concerned that everything won’t match or look as lovely as I want it to.
To start, my wedding is influenced by french impressionism. The influence isn’t direct, but my wedding has evolved to have a romantic garden feel. My wedding colors are gold, dusty taupe and laduree green. My dress is a nudish pink.
This is how my invitations look so far.
The invites are going to come in little boxes and I want to wrap them in craft paper like so:
The ink color and basically everything you see above is changeable. Now, how do I tie everything together? I want to balance the ornate crest with craft paper and make everything a little more casual. Maybe one or both of the envelopes should also be craft colored as well? I want the envelope liners to be a impressionist painting or a picture of laduree macarons, but I don’t know what to choose.
GAH, I’m really bad with things like this and I REALLY WISH I could have just choose a pre-done design. Wedding planning has been easy except for when I have to stress over little details like this. 🙁
