We are throwing a wedding for 100 guests on a $2k budget! We’re having awesome BBQ from a great local restaurant. But we’re doing drinks ourselves. It’s a day time wedding with mostly older guests being held at a state park. We’re planning on soda, water, a couple different varieties of bottled beer, and lemonade. I was thinking about making sangria as a fruity option for the women, but the wine alone would cost us $200.
Can I get away serving only beer with the other non-alcoholic options I’ll have there? Any other suggestions?

Trader Joe’s 2 buck chuck is actually not so bad, if you have a TJ’s nearby!

Black box wine is cheap and tasty. I would have some wine. People will drink less wine than they would if it was mixed in sangria so I wouldn’t do the sangria.
