Think I messed up and put this in the wrong spot the first time I posted. Hopefully this is right. Sorry I am new to the weddingbee.
My fiance has 2 kids from his previous marriage. His son is 5 and daughter is 4. They live with us full time and I love my little family. I have been trying and trying to think of something to give them during the ceremony. I want them to have something special to remind them of my commitment to them and their dad.
A necklace would work for her but not really for him
I was thinking of maybe a snowglobe for each of them…
I would love any ideas.

@hollyhope1: how about a nice watch?

I would say get something different for each one. The idea of a necklace would be great for the girl just get her something that is good quality like a gold cross. For a nice watch that would hold up with time.

@hollyhope1: Is there a family heirloom that you could pass down to each one? A piece of jewelry that your little girl could grow into and special cufflinks for your little boy are some examples that pop into my head. They don’t have to be expensive or even materially precious like jewelry, but I think the idea of sharing that meaningful connection to your own family history is a powerful symbol. Good luck!
