Hello fellow bees! I am in need of some advice. I am having a very small wedding (less than 20 people) and no bridal party so my wedding is not by any means going to be “fancy.” Wedding is going to be the evening of June 30 and going to be outside… which of course its probably going to be miserably hot! So here’s my dilemma, I don’t know what to put my groom in. My colors are mocha and rose. I don’t really want to do a tux because it is going to be so hot an figured since we aren’t having that many people its probably not going to be a big deal. However, I don’t know if I should do a rose shirt with a brown tie and brown pants or rose shirt with brown tie, brown vest and brown pants.
I am attaching a picture of my dress to this post, although the picture shows a grey dress, my dress is going to be white. I thought it might help in giving me some ideas! Need some advice on grooms clothes please!!!!

I’m also having an outdoor, likely hot wedding! I’m putting the guys in dress slacks, a button down vest, short sleeved button down shirt (probably yellow to match my maids) and a tie. I’ll probably ask the pants and vests to be grey, but haven’t decided that for sure.
I think you could easily do brown pants with a rose shirt and brown tie. Or, if you could find it, it would be great to have a brown tie with stripes, or some sort of small patern in rose. If you want to add a brown vest, I like the look (obviously) but you do’nt have to. Or you could just have your guy in the vest. Just thoughts.

I absolutely love the idea of a brown vest with some sort of pattern in rose! I hadn’t even thought about that! That would be perfect! Now…if I can only find something like that!

I agree. Brown pants and vest! But, I think a white shirt would look more “groomy” and the rose color should come from the tie and/or the bout.
ETA: Your dress is fabulous!
