If you want to avoid loose hair that would lose their curl, how about a bridal ‘do at the nape of your neck?I’m not sure if that would be low enough to conceal it, but maybe it would work?

These would also be out of the way of your veil, making it easy to remove it for the reception without messing up your ‘do. =)

I was in a wedding once and the stylist gave me this great hairdo when I told her I wanted an updo, but still wanted length. I told her something like a very fancy low ponytail and she said she’d do an updo that still had length and movement. I don’t have picture of that but I’m trying to describe it. The picture below is close, and it’s also a beautiful option.

Oh wow, now that’s a gorgeous and feminine bridal ‘do! Great find, bmore.

Oh i like those, those are all really pretty!

You could do a few clip in extensions if you want something that holds curl but hides the bump a little better. But i REALLY like the photo bmore posted! That is awesome

Unfortunately, I don’t know where that pic is originally from. I got it from this thread though: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/lets-see-your-wedding-hairdos-ladies

But the point I was attempting to make is that I had a stylist give me something very similar when I just described to her that I wanted – flowy, length, but updo – well before I ever found that pic. If your stylist is good, she should be able to pick out what’s important to you, especially if you have at least one pic to start from, so I hope that one helped. I really love it too – I’m trying to track down that stylist for my own wedding pretty much based on this one perfect hairdo she gave me!

I agree with the low looser “updo” at the nape of the neck should work perfect… as a hairstylist myself  I love those styles They are so classy and chic yet not to done up… I personally hate the look of a stiff tight updo
