There are a few hostesses and honorary hostesses for my baby shower this weekend.
A friend of my Mother-In-Law has offered her house, and I’m planning to get her a substantial gift certificate to a spa ($100+).
A close friend has planned most of the shower and financially backed the majority of the endeavor, and I’ll be getting her a substantial gift (maybe a very nice piece of jewelry- $100+) as well.
I have three other friends who have traveled from lengthy distances (all requiring plane flights – one got a hotel, the other two (and their families) are staying with me). These three ladies, as well as my SIL (who is more or less local), are also helping to organize, but as far as I know, none of these four have made a significant financial contribution to the shower.
My Mother-In-Law has also spend considerable time on the shower, but perhaps not tons of money.
I bring up the money only because I feel like the people who spent more should get a more substantial gift? Is this true?
What should I get for the three traveling friends, Mother-In-Law and SIL? What price range is appropriate?
