I just had my meeting with the DJ and he asked us how we want to be introduced. I am not changing my name and am not a fan of the phrase ” Mr. And Mrs. grooms name.” And that is what he suggested. Is anyone in the same position as me and doing something unique? Please give me some ideas of what we can do. Below are some thoughts I had on what he could say to introduce is.
Introducing for the first time as husband and wife, our names.
Introducing the newly weds, our names
Please welcome to their celebration of love, our names.

I’m not planning on changing my name either, and by the time we get married I’ll be an MD, so Mr. and Dr. His Name sounds even more wrong to me!
I don’t have much to contribute in the way of creative ideas, but I really like the first option you suggested!

Personally, I think it’s fine to say Mr and Mrs Hisname, regardless of whether or not your changing your name, but if you’re not comfortable with that, then maybe he could introduce as simply “The newlyweds” or just as your first names

@medbride: LOL. I joke with my Fiance that we should be introduced as Dr. and Mr. MyLastName. He doesn’t find it as funny as I do. 🙂
The DJ’s suggestions are exactly what I was thinking about doing, too.
