A little back story- I had been thinking of ways to make the bridemaid dress search and purpose easy on all 6 of my maids. They all live in different locations very far from each other and because they will be doing a lot of traveling for our wedding I def wanted a less expensive but still nice option for them. Turns out the ladies didn’t care for the open ended “find a dress in this color” option so I began my search. And I came across this lovely dress:
The problem is I feel in love with this color and style and it’s being discontinued. I emailed all my maids yesterday to get them to look online and order the dress- it’s on sale at Jcrew for $159 and there is an additional 25% off if they order today! Score. The problem is that some of them don’t know what size to order. Does anyone know how this dress runs size wise??? Does it run small, big, or true to size? Does anyone have any pics of their maids in this dress???
Thanks bees! As always your help is much appreciated!

@Soon2bSykes: My bridesmaids didn’t seem to feel that the Arabelle ran large or small, but it was too short on one of them! She is probably 5’7″, and it came to the middle of her thigh. My other girls who aren’t as tall were fine though.

I suggest that they call J Crew’s bridal line. They are very helpul! They were great when my BMs bought their dresses from there and were not sure what size to order!

Thanks bees! I had a few of them call to help them with the size to order! They all ordered today so I feel like they got a great deal on the dress!

Wow! I am getting the same dress for my bridesmaids, only in Navy! This is very helpful! The size thing was also a question for me, though I do believe I read that they run true to size!!

In my experience, the special occasion dresses run a tad big. I can wear my usual J. Crew size, but I can also wear a size lower (and lose a little length, but get a slimmer fit).
Arabelle is a short dress, so I don’t think you’d want your girls to order small.
