What is it about the first dress that are you missing? if it’s the neckline, I kinda copy/pasted one to the other to give a visual if u had it altered like the one u’v been thinking about….maybe that’s all u need! personally, i love the bottom of the dress u bought, more than the first one! and I’m a lil bias bc I LOVE sweeatheart necklines, so I think that would be a good alteration….not a huge fan of the belt tho

I think with the changes you want to make it will look amazing. If you decide on a belt use a really thin bling one and I love the bling on the sweetheart neck too:)

I’m not going to be very helpful but i adore the first dress.

I say no belt. Belts cut you in half.

I’m in the minority, but I love your dress just the way it is and think you look beautiful! But if you love the sweetheart neckline i say go for it!

I think it looks perfect with the sweetheart neckline , it really takes the dress up a level from being really nice to stunning ! As for the belt I think I agree with maybe having a thin belt round Thea middle rather than necessarily the one you tried on.

please don’t have dress regret once you’ve done your alterations it will be perfect 🙂

Your body is incredible (love the curves), and the belt just breaks up [what should be] the uninterrupted, natural line of your figure. That might be why it makes you feel shorter, because it chops up, rather than enhances, your body and simply says “here is separate top half and here is my separate bottom half.”

Belts/sashes are super trendy right now, so many people will recommend one. But I don’t think one works with your dress at all (not even a thin one), especially since there is no seam at the waist and it actually takes away from your lovely figure. As Sophiekins17 said, the bling you seek can from your jewelry.

I also think the sweetheart alteration would look tremendous.

WOW! You have a great figure and I love both of them on you. I am of no help because I think they are beautiful on you. Just not a fan of that belt. Would you mind sharing the name of the dress in the first picture?
