I ordered my dress from FabulousU and it is in the process of being made. I have attached picutres of the dress i decided on, but it will not have the flower sash around it and will have white satin buttons down the back (because who doesn’t love some classic white satin buttons?). I am in love with the dress, but for obvious reasons it will need a bustle. My question for you is this: Which kind of bustle do you think would work best with this dress?
Thanks for your help!

I’m thinking of a lace dress with a satin underskirt and when the ladies at the store did a pinned bustle on it so I could see, I just really hated it. Somehow the bunching up of the lace for the bustle reminded me of a tablecloth or an old curtain at my grandma’s or something. They did a 3-point and 5 point bustle and everytime I got that weird tablecloth feeling. I didn’t even really like the european bustle either with the lace.
If I get the dress, I am thinking of doing a flip under bustle, where basically the whole train gets flipped under and attached underneath itself smoothly without bunching. There’s some pics in this thread: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/can-i-see-your-ballroom-bustle

With the fact that your dress drapes in the front too, I’m with @Jennlee: – do the flip bustle.

Beautiful dress! I also agree with the flip bustle. 🙂
