- Wedding: October 2012
We are getting married October 27, 2012 at an apple and pumpkin farm. I have a champange beaded lace and tulle gown and the guys are in black suits with plum ties ( fiances choice) and I found a black tie with a plum and champagne paisley print for the hubby to be. My girls are wearing plum dresses.
I have made ribbon wands as well with gold, purple and cream ribbon with dark wood rods.
I have decided that our tables with have plum table clothes with ivory/chapagne napkins. I have already decided what my centerpeices will look like. Its going to be a 6×9 in dark walnut colored box with a mixture of dried leaves and twigs with fresh flowers as well.
My cake will be champagne in color and have silk leaves on it with fake twigs. But I can change this idea up to 3 weeks before wedding
Now onto my dilema. I oringinally was going for a very fall rustic theme with darker shades of reds and oranges and yellows. But now I have found myself adding gold in there as well.
I have met with my florist and we came up with a bouquet of leonitis roses, golden yellow makora orchids, red or brown hybericum berries, black eyed susans, seeded euk, hanging amarathis and either plum dalias or plum mini calla lillies. Wrapped in burlap. I can also change anything in my bouquets and centerpeices 3 weeks before.
These were my inspiration.
but recently I have found this color scheme and now I’m confused to say the least.
My question is am I going with too many colors in my first plan or is gonna look good. I oringinally didnt want any white in my bouquets….now with with the above I dont know. The only issue I’m having with this is that I really would like my black eyed susans cause he picked them for me on our second date. So they are sentimental. And with the 2nd color scheme im afraid it wont look good.
Help me please. I think im losing my mind!
