I used grapes and green hydrangias in my centerpieces.  They looked so beautiful I also mixed in pink roses.  We had them in glass bowls.  You can also incorporate apples.  I love to mix in fruit.

what is the feel of your ewdding / reception? you could do deep red roses with white roses or hydrangea as center pieces if you’re going for something more romantic / soft / traditional. you could also do all white flowers and wrap the vase with burgundy ribbon. what is your venue like? all sorts of linens, runners, etc that you could consider too.

are you refering to walls of the church or the venue? how big are these pictures?

if they’re all on one wall in the reception, you could do a wall of photos – thro the years – following you and the groom as you both individually grew up and then a separate section for the period you were dating. you could make the background on which the photos are mounted white, with a burgundy edging, and maybe a scrolly / motif design in the background in burgundy too, overlaying the photos on top of that.
