So I’m potentially having a seaside wedding, and we want to do something off of the beaten path.
Instead of flowers, I’m thinking of decorating glass fishing floats with some lace ribbons and maybe some orchids or some other tropical flowers. (only a few flowers per float). Each girl would have a single float as kind of an alternative pomodor.
I would like a float that is 6-7 inches, but all I’m finding (in my price range!) is 5 inch floats. Do you think these will look ridiculously tiny and silly? If so, I’d like to scrap the idea altogether..

I’m not sure what a fishing float is either. Post a picture?

OP, I think these could be really awesome. If it were me, I’d skip lace and accent them with some starfish, seashells and such and then put just a couple flowers matching your bouquet on them

I think 5″ would be fine but if yo want larger ones, go to Google shopping and search for 6″ glass fishing floats

I actually think this is an awesome alternative (after I saw what a fishing float was….I never knew that is what they were called!!). Very creative and memorable. 🙂 Like jpalm13 said, I’d probably skip lace and accent them with more nautical type elements, but that’s just me! Post pictures when you are done if you go for it!! I think they’ll be beautiful!!!!!
