I’d paint it red and swap out the hardware for something stainless.

I would do it in a neutral color, maybe black or white? That way you can continue to use it, regardless if you change the room

I just recently painted a bureau! I got a really nice espresso color from Lowe’s that matches espresso furniture almost perfectly!

@runsyellowlites:  LOL! well if it helps to convince him, I painted ours before I was pregnant, but it didn’t take long at all! This is so embarrassing (I’m so cheap) but I was able to paint the entire thing with one $3 “paint sample” from Lowe’s. Ya know, the little jar they give you to test a color out? HAHA. Cheapest project ever! I’m going to put some photos up at some point..have to get them off the camera!

paint it yellow paint it yellow paint it yellow!

 

it would be such a fun pop of color with the gray and red and fits in with the color scheme of the marvel poster. you don’t need any other yellow in the room, this will just be a perfect pop.
