Sorry this pic is humongous i dont know how to resize it! (first post)I was wondering if you guys could help. I’m attempting to figure out which wedding band to pair with my ering! I am a fan of eternity bands… But should I get a eternity band with diamonds all around or just the top? I don’t know how much total weight the wedding band should be. Feel free to post pics of your own with ering center stone weight and wedding band with stone weight! Thank you for your help!

Ohhhh! How pretty! I think it is easier to function with rings that only have stones on the top/sides versus twe whole band. My ring constantly is scraping door handles or other things and I would hate think of damaging my stones. I think a band with stones on the top would go perfectly with your ring.

A semi eternity band is fine. Your ring is beautiful welcome to the hive girl!

Thank you ladies I absolutely love it! I would definitely bang the bottom portion on everything!!! Do you girls have suggestions on the size of the stones from your own experiences or what you have seen? I don’t want away take away from the ering but definitely want some sparkle. Thanks for your help and advice 🙂

My center stone is just over 1 ct and I think the wedding band it 1/3 ct TW? Maybe 3/8?

OOoooh! That looks really nice! I love the classic look of your set! Does the band have diamonds all the way around or halfway?

I looove the look of solitaires with wedding bands that have stones in them. My favorite is a twisted band like these:

I also love the look of an eternity or semieternity diamond band with a solitaire! No pictures to share, just adding a vote!

@MissAmbieJ: Love your ring!!
I personally prefer half eternity bands because they’re more comfortable.
If money’s a factor, you can get a larger half eternity band than you would a full eternity band.
I think pretty much any size would go with your ring!! It’s elegant and simple so you could bling it up a lot without it being too much.

I have this one in yellow gold. I think it would look great with your solitaire! It is 4mm wide.

I hear that 1/2 eternity bands are irritating since you have to turn them around constantly. As for the worry about them getting roughed up, they’re diamonds! It takes a LOT to scratch one.

I love the look of a diamond band paired with a solitaire. Is it a concern for you that your e-ring must sit flush with the band? I personally prefer straight bands over curved ones, although I have a tiny gap in between my rings.

@MissAmbieJ: It’s halfway. I didn’t see the point in spending extra money to get diamonds in places where it wouldn’t be seen.

@BrandNewBride: they don’t spin if you solder them. I’m not sure if OP is planning to, but I intend on soldering my band.

@shashabee thank you for the advice! I like the eternity band. I’m not entirely sure if the band will be flush with my ering but my diamond is set kind of high So it may fit. I would be interested to hear why others don’t like when they are uniformly lined up. I love your set its beautiful!!
@iowaDDS13 that’s kind of how I feel also, it may be cheaper if I opt for semi rather than whole!
haha my ering already tilts a bit. I heard I could get the prong type thing on the inside to make it stay But it is definitely a thing to consider so I’m not constantly turning it round!
