I’m getting married on Sunday (yikes, I know, scrambling here!) and have a few questions for The Hive. I’ve picked out different songs for the grandmothers, mothers, groom & pastor, wedding party and my processional. Is that too much? It’s a total of 5 songs. I’ve walked most of them, and have asked the DJ (yes, on a budget here) to fade out if each group arrives too early.
With all these songs, my bridesmaids and a friend have suggested that I list all in the wedding program since I’ve gone to the trouble to personally select them. Thoughts?

Some will say you need to cut down the song numbers and others will say keep them. It’s your personal preference. I’ve seen weddings do both ways. However, I do agree with your bridesmaids that you should list them if you have put this much thought and effort into it.
Here is an example of what my friend did at her wedding when she listed them all..
Clair de lune…Debussy
Come What May…Baerwald
Seating of the Grandparents
Stars & Butterflies…Marianelli
Seating of the Parents
The Prayer…Sager & Foster
How can I keep from Singing…Seeger
Arrival of the Bride
Hope that helps and Good Luck!!

Musical selections are often listed on the program, in a format like what misssnowflake suggested. The only reason I could think not to would be if you are trying to save on space on the program. It will probably also be a nice memento down the road to see again what songs you picked. So I would go for it!
