So I’m clueless about rings and diamonds and all that sort of stuff. We’re trying to get our wedding bands picked out, and all I know is how I want it to LOOK, but not what that means! Heheh 🙂
So I want a white gold band with princess cut diamonds in a channel setting. That much I figured out! But I’m not sure what carat size I should get. I want something delicate and simple. I have petite fingers and am a pretty simple person in general. This doesn’t need to match my e-ring as I won’t be wearing it after the wedding.
So right now I’m looking at 1/4 carat diamond bands online, but I’m not sure what that would look like in “real life”? I measured (roughly) a ring I have with a width that I like and it’s about 3.5mm, which seems to correspond with 1/4 carat or less.
What’s the standard carat size for eternity bands? Mine won’t be eternity, but that’s the general look I want (but only halfway around or slightly less).
Thanks in advance!
