So I REALLY want myself and my bridal party (4 bridesmaids, 2 flowergirls, and 2 ring barrers) to walk down the aisle to the same song.
It’s The Piano Guys version of A Thousand Years. I want the doors to open and my dad and I walk down right when the music gets really intense (right at 2:38) so that means that I need to get everyone down at the perfect times in order for that to happen. (I have an awesome Day Of Coordinator that has a stopwatch and everything lol)
I was thinking:
First Bridesmaid at 0:30
Second Bridesmaid at :50
Third Bridesmaid at 1:10
MOH at 1:30
Ring Barrers at 1:50
Flower Girls at 2:10
(Give it 28 seconds just to make sure that the center aisle is completely clear and to get my head together with my dad)
Daddy and I enter at 2:38
Is 20 seconds too much time for each person to make it down a 60 foot aisle? Too short of time? I figure the kids might go a little quicker than expected, and if they do, no biggy… I’m still coming in at my grand entrance! I just hope they aren’t too slow and throw it off.
And then once I make it to the end of the aisle the sound guy can fade it out.
Does this just sound like it will take too long? Would you be bored waiting this long for the bridal party to make it down the aisle at a wedding? Or do you think the building music adds to the excitement and anticipation of seeing the bride?
THIS VIDEO is the same version of the song we will be using, but obviously not from YouTube so I wont have that Ad in the beginning. So, because of that, the timing is a little different from what I had posted. But just so you get a feel for it, the intense part (when I would walk in with my dad) on this video is at 2:40.
What do yall think? I know I sound crazy and anal. I just reeeeally want to come in at the height of the song.
